The 15th annual Friends of Sadie Valentine Blood Drive is scheduled to take place in Burke on Sunday, February 11. This event holds great significance for the community as it commemorates Sadie, a former resident who battled childhood cancer years ago. The blood drive aims to raise awareness about the crucial role blood donors play in supporting cancer patients. The event is open to the community and neighbors, and everyone is encouraged to participate!
All donors will receive the “Love is in my blood” shirt as their donor appreciation gift.
