Effective Tuesday, June 20, 2023, Inova Blood Donor Services implemented the recently released FDA Guidance regarding the Individual Donor Assessment. Please refer to the FDA’s recent press announcement for more information regarding the Individual Donor Assessment.
Proactive steps to update policies, forms, and computer systems in accordance with the new FDA guidance have been taken. Inova Blood Donor Services looks forward to welcoming newly eligible donors. Every drop of blood counts, and so does every willing donor.
