Elsie is hosting a blood drive in honor of her grandfather and the many people who have Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Patients with MDS like Elsie’s grandfather receive frequent blood transfusions during treatment. The blood transfusions replenish their red blood cells, which are needed to carry oxygen in the body.
Join Elsie and the greater Vienna community at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department for a community blood drive. The bloodmobile will be parked in the parking lot. Everyone is welcome!
