Amherst County Fire and EMS is hosting a community blood drive at the Madison Heights Public Library. The blood drive will be located at the library on Tuesday, June 30. Everyone is welcome!
Amherst Fire and EMS is an EMS partner in the prehospitalization blood program with Inova, which provides specially screened whole blood in their ambulances for patients receiving life-saving transfusions when every second counts.
