Thank you for being a dedicated blood donor

The Annual Donor Recognition Dinner is a special event dedicated to expressing gratitude to blood donors for their invaluable contributions. This year's dinner was held on Friday, June 13, coinciding with World Blood Donor Day, making the celebration even more meaningful. Donors who made significant contributions throughout 2024 were invited to enjoy a wonderful evening in their honor.

Below are the qualifications to receive an invitation to the annual dinner.

Whole Blood Donors

Whole blood donors qualify for the Annual Recognition Dinner by

  • Donating six times in a calendar year or reaching a gallon milestone, starting at 5 gallons.
    • Ex. 5 Gallons, 10 Gallons, 15 Gallons, etc.

Double Red Cell Donors

Double red donors qualify for the Annual Recognition Dinner by

  • donating three times during a calendar year or crossing a milestone marker of units marking a gallon milestone, starting at 5 gallons
    • Ex. 5 Gallons, 10 Gallons, 15 Gallons, etc.

Platelet and Plasma Donors

Platelet and plasma donors qualify for the Annual Recognition Dinner by

    • Donate 20 or more times in a calendar year
    • Cross a milestone marker- every 50th donation, starting at 50 donations
      • Ex. 50th Donation, 100th Donation, 150th Donation, etc.
