As part of Inova’s commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities\, we invite you to participate in the blood drive on Thursday\, May 30. The bloodmobile will be parked on the Centerfield Concourse just beyond the gates. \nWhy Donate? Giving blood is a powerful way to make a positive impact on our local community. By participating\, you contribute to saving lives and making a difference. \nLet’s come together and make a positive impact. See you at Nationals Park on May 30! \nDonor eligibility:\n \nTo meet the basic requirements for donating blood\, you must be in good health and: \n\nHave a pulse and blood pressure within acceptable limits.\nHave a normal temperature.\nMeet the minimum age requirement\, 17 (16 with parent consent)\nHave an acceptable blood hemoglobin level.\nBe free of infections that can be transmitted through blood transfusion\, or risk factors closely associated with exposure to such infections.\n\nThere are several potential reasons that may cause you to be temporarily or permanently deferred from donating blood.
